Role Summary The DevOps Fellowship Associate will participate in a structured, project-based learning program designed to build foundational and intermediate skills in DevOps, automation, cloud-native development, and modern software delivery practices. Fellows will work on real-world DevOps projects, receive mentorship from industry practitioners, and collaborate with development and cloud teams to gain hands-on experience across the DevOps lifecycle — CI/CD automation, configuration management, container orchestration, infrastructure monitoring, and reliability engineering. Throughout the fellowship, associates will apply DevOps tools and practices to improve deployment efficiency, system resilience, and operational performance in cloud and hybrid environments. Key Responsibilities • Project Execution & Documentation • Complete DevOps learning projects including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, log monitoring dashboards, and container deployments. • Configure automation workflows using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar tools. • Implement IaC scripts using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar frameworks. • Containerize applications using Docker and deploy microservices using Kubernetes. • Document automation workflows, infrastructure architecture, deployment strategies, and project learnings. Learning Outcomes • Develop proficiency in the end-to-end DevOps lifecycle: CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, deployment orchestration, and operations automation. • Gain hands-on experience with containerization, microservices deployment, cloud-native DevOps tools, and reliability engineering. • Strengthen problem-solving, debugging, performance optimization, and cross-team collaboration skills. • Build a portfolio demonstrating CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, monitoring dashboards, IaC repositories, and automation frameworks — proving job readiness for DevOps roles.
