Cyber Security Fellowship Program

Role Summary The Cyber Security Fellowship Associate will participate in a structured, project-based learning program designed to build foundational and intermediate cyber defense, security operations, and risk management skills. Fellows will work on real-world security projects, receive mentorship from seasoned cyber professionals, and collaborate with SOC teams and IT stakeholders to gain hands-on experience across the full cybersecurity lifecycle — threat identification, vulnerability assessment, incident detection and response, governance and compliance, cloud security, and security automation. Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Documentation • Complete assigned security projects including vulnerability scanning, SIEM configuration, penetration testing simulations, and incident response investigations. • Conduct security posture assessments across networks, applications, cloud environments, and endpoints. • Prepare structured documentation such as risk reports, security control plans, compliance checklists, and incident response summaries. Monitoring, Investigation & Threat Analysis • Monitor security alerts, SIEM dashboards, threat intelligence feeds, and log data to identify anomalies. • Perform root-cause analysis for security incidents and propose mitigation steps. • Support malware analysis, email phishing investigations, and network traffic inspection. • Security Testing & Hardening • Configure and execute vulnerability scans and penetration testing workflows. • Apply security controls across OS, cloud services, access policies, and network resources. • Validate patching, firewall rules, encryption, identity governance, and MFA implementations.
