Role Summary The AI for Healthcare Fellowship Associate will participate in a project-driven, experiential learning program focused on applying AI, data science, and digital health technologies to real-world healthcare challenges. Fellows will work on production-grade HealthTech AI projects across diagnostics, clinical decision support, patient engagement, medical data intelligence, and healthcare accessibility. The program simulates real healthcare ecosystems where: • Clinical accuracy • Data privacy • Regulatory compliance • Patient outcomes intersect with AI-driven innovation. Key Responsibilities 1. Healthcare AI Project Execution & Documentation • Design and develop AI-powered healthcare applications using clinical and patient data. • Build end-to-end solutions including: o Data ingestion (EHR, diagnostics, imaging) o Feature engineering o Model development and evaluation 2. AI Modeling, Medical Analytics & Clinical Intelligence • Apply machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and computer vision to healthcare use cases: o Disease prediction and early diagnosis o Clinical risk scoring o Patient outcome prediction o Medical text analysis 3. Platform Design, Ethics & Healthcare Communication • Translate clinical and operational healthcare requirements into AI solutions. • Collaborate in simulated environments with: o Doctors o Healthcare administrators o Data teams Medical data fundamentals: o Electronic Health Records (EHR) o Diagnostic workflows AI applications in: o Disease prediction & diagnosis o Clinical decision support NLP for: o Medical records o Clinical notes summarization Computer Vision for: o X-rays o MRI/CT scans Ethical AI in healthcare: o Bias mitigation o Patient safety o Data privacy
